Todd McClendon, Director / CPTC Projects 
ATLNEXT

Todd McClendon is Director of CPTC Projects on the ATLNEXT Program at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.  In his role, he is responsible for a team of 12+ professionals that are extension of staff to the City of Atlanta’s Department of Aviation Planning & Development organization, providing project management and other critical resources for the delivery of diverse range of projects within the Central Passenger Terminal Complex.  Notably, this team supports completion of the remaining projects from the previous capital program as well as the new $6B+ capital program related to the Central Passenger Terminal Complex including the terminal and concourse modernization program, concourse F A-380 modifications, replacement of passenger boarding bridges, expansion of the underground airport people mover, concourse T gate expansion, and more.  Mr. McClendon brings needed technical, stakeholder and management experience for the successful coordination of projects.


 

Robert Ramsey, Senior Vice President / COO 
Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority

Robert Ramsey is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA).  He currently oversees the Development & Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Public Safety, Strategic Planning, and Environmental departments.  He joined MNAA in September 2003 and has been involved with numerous improvements at the Nashville International and John C. Tune airports, including the $1.4B BNA Vision which includes a lobby renovation, terminal expansion, new D Concourse, international arrivals facility and additional parking garages.  Prior to joining MNAA, he was with Atriax – Architects and Engineers, Corning Cable Systems, and with the US Air Force.   He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla.


Dave Edwards, President/CEO 
Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District

DAVID N. EDWARDS, JR. has more than thirty years’ experience in airport management with strong credentials in the areas of business development, properties, governmental affairs, operations, and international marketing. 

Mr. Edwards has served as the President/CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District since July 2009. He is responsible for the overall administration and development of the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). Under his leadership, passenger traffic has almost doubled, and the airport secured nonstop all-cargo service to Germany. He is also responsible for establishing and implementing a Terminal Renovation/Modernization Program for GSP which resulted in the investment of $127 million in the terminal between 2012 and 2017. 

Immediately prior to relocating to Greenville-Spartanburg, Mr. Edwards served as the Airport Director of the Asheville Regional Airport Authority for almost six years. Mr. Edwards also served as the Executive Director of the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority. He spent twelve years with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and started his aviation career with the Dade County Aviation Department. 

Mr. Edwards is a past Chairman of the Board for Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA), a past Board of Director for ACI World, and a past Chairman of the Small Airports Committee for ACI-NA. He has served as President of the North Carolina Airports Association and is a past President of the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives. He also serves/has served on Boards of the Greer Development Corporation, Gibbs Cancer Center, Upstate SC Alliance, Greenville Chamber, VistGreenvilleSC, and Spartanburg CVB. He is an Accredited Airport Executive by the American Association of Airport Executives. Mr. Edwards holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. 


Marcelo Lima, A.A.E., Vice President, Planning and Development
Birmingham Airport Authority

Marcelo Lima is the Vice President of Planning and Development for the Birmingham Airport Authority (BAA), where he is responsible for all planning and construction projects at the Birimingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM). His responsibilities include identifying airport developments to meet the airport’s current and future goals, maximizing airspace capacity through design standards and airfield improvements and securing federal and local funds to develop projects that will increase safety, security and capacity at BHM.

Prior to his current role, Marcelo served in several capacities in the airport industry over the last 16 years. His roles include serving as the Deputy Airport Director at the Lynchburg Regional Airport in Lynchburg, VA, Capital Projects Manager and Airport Planner with the Birmingham Airport Authority and serves as the Airport Planner and Operations Officer at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC.

Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Ohio University and a Master of Science degree in Aviation from the University of North Dakota. Marcelo is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) through the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and holds a Private Pilot Certificate.

Iana Tassada Stuart, Vice President and Aviation Market Sector Leader 
JE Dunn Construction 

Iana Tassada Stuart has spent her entire 16-year career with JE Dunn Construction, advancing through the operational ranks to her current position of Vice President and Aviation Market Sector Leader. She has been instrumental in JE Dunn’s entrance into the aviation market sector.  Her responsibilities include marketing the aviation group, cultivating client relationships, assembling project teams and maintaining high-level project execution.  She also lends direction and expertise to JE Dunn’s pursuit of aviation projects nationwide.

Iana is very committed to expanding the participation of minority and women-owned businesses in the construction industry. She works closely with the company’s Diversity & Inclusion team to maximize JE Dunn’s MCD (Minority Contractor Development) program’s capacity to sharpen the competitiveness of M/WBEs by promoting critical industry skills and relationships. Iana teaches classes, leads workshops, mentors and is directly involved with selecting and hiring M/WBE firms for projects.  She advocates strongly for internal diversity spend goals, which she helps develop and track for the company.

A LEED-accredited professional, Iana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  In 2018 she was recognized as an honoree of Engineering News-Record’s Top 20 Under 40 in their national competition as well as Airport Business Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40.

Iana resides in Atlanta with her husband, Todd, and their fifteen-month-old son, Ford.
