EDWARDS\, JR. has more than thirty years’ experience in airport management with strong credentials in the areas of business development\, properties\, governmental affairs\, operations\, and international marketing.  \nMr. Edwards has served as the President/CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District since July 2009. He is responsible for the overall administration and development of the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). His responsibilities include identifying airport developments to meet the airport’s current and future goals\, maximizing airspace capacity through design standards and airfield improvements and securing federal and local funds to develop projects that will increase safety\, security and capacity at BHM. \nPrior to his current role\, Marcelo served in several capacities in the airport industry over the last 16 years. His roles include serving as the Deputy Airport Director at the Lynchburg Regional Airport in Lynchburg\, VA\, Capital Projects Manager and Airport Planner with the Birmingham Airport Authority and serves as the Airport Planner and Operations Officer at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte\, NC. \nMarcelo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Ohio University and a Master of Science degree in Aviation from the University of North Dakota. The Who\, What\, When\, Where\, and Why of testing and of an ERRCS. This code is fairly new to GA and several jurisdictions are just starting to enforce the code.
